For most of my early years at home and all of my adult years that followed I loved the sound of whistling tea-kettles. I have owned quite a few but must admit to being slightly frustrated that the only way "in and out" was through the spout!! I absolutely love my new tea-kettle!! The whistle makes me happy and brings memories of home, too!. The handle is comfortable!! The spout is easily managed! BUT best of all ... my new tea-kettle has a lid so I can easily access the innards for cleaning, if and when necessary, and I now have an easy access for steeping my tea before poring it into a cup. I love the overall look of my kettle and even my hubby noted how very nice it looks on our ceramic-topped stove. The price is very reasonable. It holds just the right amount of water for my kettle needs. I am very pleased with my purchase and feel very comfortable recommending this product to others. ^\^

The handle is solid and stays cool; the whistle works great, loud enough to not pay attention to. Also I really like the shape of this tea kettle, simple and elegant. The size is perfect for me too, 2 large mugs of tea. No more, no less. In all, this tea kettle meets all my requirements, and I am very satisfied with it.
