I loved the style and color of the red kettle but was disappointed to have the red paint chipping off so quickly, within a few weeks of purchase. After a year of more paint lose and a loosening handle I also found the inside had rust rings forming. Needless to say, that kettle went out in the trash. Until I read the reviews on Amazon I thought mine was an isolated case of a poorly made teakettle. Apparently not, since others have mentioned very similar conditions. Now it's back to reading reviews and searching for the perfect kettle to sit on my stove. |
